Transit Drives Indy is the recipient of a 3C (Cultural Corridor Consortium) Creative Placemaking grant, awarded by Transportation for America. You can read more about the grant here.

The mission of 3C Indy is to create a new culture of public transit in Indianapolis by activating artists and arts partners through a multi-year creative placemaking program. 3C Indy is designed to educate and engage communities, and promote and monitor progress throughout the implementation of the Marion County Transit Plan.
Red Line construction has begun, and so has the placemaking activity in the communities where the line will travel through. Purple Line design activity is also underway. You've likely already seen installation pieces along that path, from the artist and residence selected to work alongside IndyGo.
